DIY: Moisturizing Rose + Coconut Shaving Butter

This shaving butter was created sort of by accident. I was trying to make a moisturizer and it ended up too runny - but then Katy saw it and asked, "Is that a shaving cream?" and bam, this luscious blend found its true purpose.

I love this stuff because it combines two of my favourite scents of the moment, rose (which I became obsessed with in England this summer) and coconut (I mean, it's coconut). Not only does this cream guarantee a clean, silky shave, but it also douses the skin with lots of healthy moisture, which is perfect for winter.

Ingredients
  • 10 drops rosewater or 5 drops rose essential oil
  • 1/2 cup coconut oil
  • Wide-mouthed Mason jar
Directions
  1. Scoop the half-cup of coconut oil into the mason jar and add the rose.
  2. Stir the mixture thoroughly.
  3. Lather your legs with the stuff and shave.
  4. Rinse your razor thoroughly to avoid coconut oil clumpage.

Bye!
